Rats Nest are a Punk band consisting of aggressive vocals complaining
about the corruption of society and other social affairs, as well as
fast drums and mad guitar solo's.
March 10th 2017, 3 of them (Sam Skunk, Connor Kaos and Kieran Twitch) got together for a jam in the studio for the first time and started playing some heavy fast punk, after managing to write 2 songs within a few hours it was clear to us that this was the direction they wanted to go. The next day they got back in the studio out of pure excitement to write some more music. This is when they came up with the name ‘Rats Nest’, When they finished that rehearsal session they soon put an advert out for a guitarist.
March 31st 2017, Adam Stick joined the band and they had their first rehearsal as a full band. They then spent the next 6-7 months putting their heads down and smashing out some new songs.
November 6th-7th 2017, They hit Perry Vale Studios to record some songs for some EP’s, It was a completely new experience for them as a band and although at times it was stressful they enjoyed every minute of it and can't wait to go and do it again.
December 16th 2017, This was the day of their first gig, It when down really really well and was a great experience for them as a band, They thoroughly enjoyed every second of it and couldn't wait to gig again.
