1.Could you tell a bit more about aural onslaught record label?

Aural Onslaught started out as a distro to sell punk, grind etc cds,vinyl and tapes but took on a life of it's own and turned into a label quite quickly.as I had a few enquiries about releasing Total Bloody Chaos, an English punk band, cd which I did! It sort of took over from there, although I let it slide for a few years due to health problems, but now it's back!!

2.When did you start with the aural onslaught record label and are the bands satisfied with your services?

I started it about 6 years ago but it sort of fell by the wayside for a couple of years, I have always seemed to get good feedback from the bands that I have been involved with, I always try my best and you can't do much more than that.

3.What bands can expect from you?

My recent releases have been a cassette split with Chikara and Lycanthropy, it's out now and has gone really well, there is a cdr release from Puta Malaria and a crd release Chikara Plague Rages split both out. Soon a cassette release with HeDied and Corrodent split, should be out this month. Chikara and Haggus cassette in the near future, also have another four or five projects in various stages of completion, busy times!!

4. Could you give some advice to bands about the underground scene?

The underground scene is the best, there are so many great people who are always willing to help you out in any way they can. The gigs are the best, the zines are always great reads and there is soooo much music out there, all genres that you can never get bored!! It is simply the best people in the world and my advice would be get invlved any way you can, go to gigs, buy merch, play in a band write a zine, just join the underground!!! You wont regret it!!

Kibou Records - Label & Distro interview

1.    Could you tell a bit more about the Kibou record label?

Kibou record label said :

Well it really started in 2012 as a vehicle for putting out the first album from my band, THE DOMESTICS. Then the first 7”…after a while I started getting sent stuff from bands and ended up doing other things like the ‘Without Kibou…’ compilation 7”s, the HARAMARAH 7”…I still usually co-release most of THE DOMESTICS’ stuff but have also put out stuff by GUILT POLICE, WOLFHOUR, III GUERRA, RASH DECISION, MILD SHAG, NEGATIV, SOCIETY’s DECLINE, BRING THE DRONES (a project band I’m in with Charlie Cimex, Denis from DOOM etc.)…loads of stuff really. Hardcore, d-beat, that kind of thing. I’m pretty fussy though!
The most recent co-release was the PIZZATRAMP / THE DOMESTICS split 5”, which has been really popular. I’m currently putting together a UKHC compilation with PIZZATRAMP, GRAND COLLAPSE, WOLFBEAST DESTROYER, THE DOMESTICS, GUILT POLICE and RASH DECISION…I think that’s going to blow people away!For those that don’t know, Kibou is Japanese for ‘hope’.

2. When did you start with the Kibou record label and are the bands satisfied with your services?

Kibou record label said :

Like I said, around 2012. The first thing I did was a CD but I do almost exclusively vinyl now. I like to think all the bands have been happy with the work I’ve put into their releases – I’ve heard no complaints anyway!

3. What bands can expect from you?

Kibou record label said :

That I will help them if I can and I like their music enough. Pressing records has become increasing expensive over the past 4 or 5 years so I have to really LOVE something to get involved with it. I’m just a guy with an ordinary, and quite demanding, job. I don’t have much spare time or money so I just do what I can. Sometimes I have to turn down bands that I really would like to help simply because I just don’t have the time or money at that moment in time. That said, there are lots of bands that send me stuff that, if they really knew anything about the label and its releases, they’d realise is just not my thing. Note to bands: stop sending me ska-punk, super-generic crust or grind, or pop-punk…I hate that stuff!

4. Could you give some advice to bands about the underground scene?

Kibou record label said :

Everyone hates a bullshitter. I’m a straight down the line type when it comes to dealing with people. I’ll help where I can – with advice on vinyl pressing (I get asked about this A LOT), gig contacts, whatever. I seek out people to work with that I think have the same attitude.
It’s amazing how every time I put a record out a TON of bands immediately get in touch to ask about putting their record out…this is actually the worst time to contact most DIY labels…think about it, they’ve sunk a shitload of money into a release – a few months before the record comes out - and are now trying to make that money back; they probably have no money at that time.
The best advice I can give is check out what labels will best suit the music you make – don’t just hit up every label you can find; it looks really shitty when bands do that; it’s so indiscriminate. If you really like a label, check out – and support – that label. Why should people buy YOUR record when you don’t support the label you’ve just asked to put your bands’ record out? It just looks like you’re all take and no give and makes you look both desperate and self-entitled. Have a real DIY attitude and be fucking real about it.

5.Could you say something at the end for the blog All for one and one for all?

1. Could you tell a bit more about urinal vinyl record label?

Urinal vinyl record label said:

Sure, well, I've always loved punk and I've always loved vinyl, so it was unavoidable I'd do it one day. I was running a tattoo shop on the coast and the sea came in and flooded the place so I got a few quid from insurance, was a "creative" claim to some degree, but it helped me get started up and paid for my first release that I did by myself. I just wanted to get stuff released on vinyl that wasn't available up until that point, partly just to help the bands out, and partly just to have in my record collection. Never liked CDs much! I was also gigging a fair bit with Contempt, so made sense to take a box of records with me to gigs to get stuff out and about. It's a bit more than 1 box now though!

2. When did you start with the urinal record label and are the bands satisfied with your services?

Urinal vinyl record label said:

  The label and distro was started in 2013, so 5 years now. Was just a small distro trying to raise the money to put out the first release, the first one being a bit cheaper as it was a collaboration between several small DIY labels, about 10 of us altogether I think, maybe even more! As for the bands being satisfied, well some are! I guess the ones I don't release might not be, but I do my best. I have a good reputation with 99% of the people I deal with, and the 1%? Well maybe that's their fault, not mine, who knows? Haha!

3. What bands can expect from you?

  I'll do my best to get what they want I suppose. It's all DIY, run from home in my spare time, but I still run it all as professionally as I can, not that that's saying much! I work with lots of different bands, some that sell a lot of records through to unknown bands, so every time it's a different thing I'm doing, and if I can't afford to put stuff out for whatever reason I'm still happy to help out with whatever I can. I'm in it for the music and for punk in general, punk means a lot to me and has had a big effect on my life in a positive way. I want it to carry on doing that for other people as well. I can help out with mastering, artwork and so on, also recording will be available again soon, lost my studio by having kids, they needed a bedroom more than I needed a studio, but soon it will be up and running again I hope!

4. Could you give some advice to bands about the underground scene?

  It is what you make it. Don't expect anything from it. Bring what you expect to find as the saying goes. Punk to me is about cooperation and working together, fuck all the egos, most of us are trying to be better than that. We're all a lot older now, and I guess a lot of us haven't achieved what we believed to have been possible in terms of the society we wanted to live in and become, but we're not jaded because of it! It's just taking longer than we thought, so I guess just give what you can and work together with no expectation of reward other than the reward of actually doing it. That's more valuable than you think, the alternative is pretty shitty!

5. Could you say something at the end for the blog All for one and one for all?

  I could say loads but I'll try and keep it short and sweet! You can't get more punk than love, hate and fear are from the system, freedom and love, love of music, love of our friends and what we do, and a belief in ourselves. Mevzu records interview

1.Could you tell a bit more about mevzu record label?

Mevzu Records said :

 Mevzu Records is a multidisciplinary movement embracing the D.I.Y (Do It Yourself) principles. In Turkish it means something like “fight” or “disturbance” but in slang. We are just 2 people, who are also musicians. One of us also shoots/directs films and videos. Our aim is to bring people together, who refuse to to close their eyes to facts, those who insist on performing their own dances in the great show taking place all around us, and who are fueled by near-extinct humane emotions while doing so. We are always welcome to individuals and groups who don't recognize artificial barriers like nationality, race or gender.

2.When did you start with the mevzu record label and are the bands satisfied with your services?

Mevzu Records said :

We started the label in the summer of 2018, and the bands say they are. I mean since we are also interested in music and we’re in the same environment, we can guess what they can need from us. And we think we’re really sincere with the guys in the bands, we believe that we’re in this all together. And we don’t believe in any kind of hierarchy, so we have to support each other in any way we can, if we want to grow this D.I.Y scene all together.

3.What bands can expect from you?

Mevzu Records said :

Actually, first of all, we offer solidarity and support. We organize shows, we make split albums, we guide bands to find a studio to record their songs, we shoot music videos (and also live videos). We are trying to push the limits of the conditions we have in Turkey, to contribute to the D.I.Y scene here.

4.Could you give some advice to bands about the underground scene?

Mevzu Records said :

Do what you want to do, try to be as true as you can to yourself, and you’ll end up in a place you dream about.

Punkart now

Punkart is a punk band from Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina) formed in 1998.
The first songs are recorded in a home studio (12 songs), and this demo is called "Punkart", and a year later the group records a demo "Generacija bez buducnosti" composed of 6 songs recorded in the studio and 5 live recordings with the Tuzla Live Festival.
After a while, the band shows the audience that the Punkart band deserves a high score for stage performance and is a completely new attraction on the scene that slowly woke from the sleepy Tuzla scene.
Two years after the demo shot "G.B.B." And several concert promotions, the group in the new composition is recording CD "Stomak Tuzle" with social-patriotic issues and anti-political attitudes.
At the Bavaria Fest, Punkart promotes '' Stomak Tuzle '' and wins the second prize with which it sings its first spot for the song 'I am cheated'.
That same year, within the Baščaršijske noći, it was declared among the fourteen best young bands in the territory of the Federation of BiH.
With concert activities throughout the region, the band records "Terorizart". And with the bands "Unutrašnja Emigracija And Andrija" promoted their CD on tour in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a year later on a tour of Croatia.
Punkart appears at the 14th International Festival of Fun Music in Bihać, and with the song "U hotelu zla", he won the third prize of the audience.
Upon returning from the tour and concerts, the band records CD "Treble Trouble" with which he will tour on a mini tour in Serbia and with the songs "Treble Trouble" I "Expedition for the Elta MT cable repair", 2014 participates in Jelen Demofest, where he won the second prize in the competition of more than 400 bands.
The group is currently working to promote its new track for the song "Meni je dosta", which also announces an album that should see the light of day in June 2015.But now the band is not active unfortunately but we are sure that the guys are preparing to us something good again

The current lineup of the band consists of:

• Emir Zagorcic - guitar
• Sead Hadzic - bass guitar
• Bojan Divkovic - drum
