1. Could you tell a bit more about sevared
record label?
BARRETT: Sevared Records is a label devoted
to Brutal Death Metal, Old School Death Metal, pretty much all styles of Death
Metal.
2. When did you start with the sevared record
label and are the bands satisfied with your services?
BARRETT: I started Sevared back in 1997 with a band called Disinterment
from Richmond Virginia USA, and have been going strong every since. This
year I should be reaching my 400th release, so yeah I think for the most part
the bands have been happy with my services over the years, you can't please
everybody.
3. What bands can expect from you?
BARRETT: I have a true passion for Death Metal, they can expect honest
communication, a great product & great distribution through out the
underground scene.
4. Could you give some advice to bands about the
underground scene?
BARRETT: Just be true to your self and the scene,
support your local bands go out to the shows, not just the huge band shows that
come to town. The more you support the local scene the bigger it will get
and the more tours that will come through your area. Don't think your
going to be a rock star, this is Death Metal, do it because you love it, not to
make a million dollars, because it most likely won't happen!!
